Company History

On 17 December 1945 Mr Pierre BADEL is granted by local authorities in Geneva permission to create and exploit a company manufacturing dental instruments.

The growing enterprise is moving to new and larger premises in 1963, and in 1968 the production programme is extended to produce a new line of tools to be used by "jewellers and watchmakers".

Starting in 1976 the company is present on professional fairs like Basle and Munich, and from then onwards, the first micromotor sets will be sold to an increasing number of customers. The constant growing company is moving to new premises in 1977.

On 18 March 1980 the name of the company changes its legal corporation and becomes BADECO S.A.

On 1 January 1989 Mrs Suzanne MOSETTI, the daughter of Mr BADEL (who had been working with him for quite some time) acquired the enterprise and took up its management while Mr BADEL progressively reduced his activities.

In 1990 the company was awarded the CE Certificate of Conformity (norms ISO 9001, EN 29001 and EN 45001).

Following Mr Pierre BADEL's retirement from the company on 7 October 1996, Mrs Suzanne MOSETTI became sole administrator.

We pride ourselves in running a first class operation. During the past years constant innovations have further increased the performance, quality and reliability of BADECO products. In addition, ethics and environmental questions are also addressed.

Fraudulous imitations are on the market, yet it is difficult to counterfeit experience and know-how. Prestigious enterprises as well connoisseur jewellers have well understood this.
